E.R. Sawyer Jewelers has a full service, state-of-the-art jewelry repair center. We also provide complete, original design services by master goldsmiths. Our center also provide complete vintage restoration and replication. Our engraving department can accomplish the most classic monogram to the most intricate logo or family crest. All services are also available at a corporate level for custom jewelry gifts and engraving.

E.R. Sawyer Jewelers was the first retail jeweler in the North Bay with a laser welder.

Our LASERSTAR Workstation is ideal for a wide range fine jewelry applications. The state-of-the-art, free-moving concept allows us to benefit from localized heat which instantly produces an excellent weld without damaging heat-sensitive stones, settings, ceramics, or other complex jewelry castings.

Some of the things we use our LASERSTAR workstation for includes the assembly of complex, multi-color jewelry pieces, retipping prongs, refilling casting porosity, resizing ring shanks, assembling diamond tennis bracelets, repairing stone settings, assembling pronged settings to shanks, complete antique restorations. Gold, platinum, silver and titanium alloys all produce excellent welds with the LASERSTAR Workstation.

Because very little heat is generated at the weld point, the jeweler can weld extremely close to even the most complicated and intricate jewelry, including heat-sensitive stones.
